Pilates and it’s Benefits
Pilates is a low impact gentle form of exercise. It focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve posture, muscle strength, flexibility and balance as well as developing strong abdominals and core strength.
Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900’s and incorporates elements of Yoga, Martial Arts and Western forms of exercise. Initially, adopted by dancers in the USA as an effective form of recovery after injury.
My classes are designed for every one of all ages and fitness abilities. Classes contain a maximum of 12 participants this will ensure you always receive the highest level of attention to help you get the most from your Pilates session. I am able to adapt exercises to meet your needs yet still add new movements and challenges to make sure you keep progressing.
